Realized Strategy and Financial Performance in Indonesia Banking Industry

Abstract

This study aim is to investigate the typology of realized strategy and financial performance in Indonesia bank-ing industry. Sample consist of 30 banking with specific characteristic as a strategy business unit (SBU). The result shown mixed result between analysis tools. Descriptive analysis indicates that bank with pure strategic typology (pure defender, pure analyzer, and pure prospector) will have more performance rather than banking with hybrid strategy (DA-Like and PA-Like). However, one-way ANOVA analysis shown that realized strat-egy perform equally well on performance in oligopolistic competition market.
